Rev. Ray Gunzel, s.P.

Father Gerald Fitzgerald, our founder, knew that to touch the heart of the priest, was to tough the heart of the Mystical Body of Christ.  Today, fifty-two years after he began his work right here in Jemez Springs, the Servants of the Paraclete continue to search for new ways to minister to priests and touch the heart of the Church.

I find it challenging and life-giving for me after thirty-five years as a Servant and a life of ministry to other priests, to be involved in the recruitment and formation of men entering the Congregation.  They bring creativity and enthusiasm.  They open our eyes and minds to possible new horizons for our ministry.  Through the years new members have stretched us and deepened our appreciation for the richness of our vocation.

If you are thinking about a religious vocation and a life of service that goes right to the very heart of the Church, I invite you to contact me and begin an conversation that could change your life, and through your life, the life of the Church.
